As a business owner, it might be surprising that beyond running a busy estate agency, there is also family life to juggle! Yes, us women really can do it all!

Through this message, I want to share with you, the exciting news of a new arrival in the Jameson family. I am expecting not one, but two babies. Yes, twins! Oh, the joys! Many of you in the local Altrincham community will be aware that Wayne and I have a three-year-old son, Lennie. And we are now to be blessed with identical twin boys.

We wanted to make this announcement as a family, to reassure our loyal customers that it will be very much business as usual throughout the twins’ arrival. We have made sufficient plans to ensure the business and wider property matters will be in no way compromised.

Childcare arrangements are already in place, and we have adequate, skilled cover, for my short period of partial leave. My intentions are to take a few weeks of complete leave from the office. Meanwhile, I will still oversee operations across all levels, remotely. After which I will return to work on a staggered basis with a full return to work within a few months.

I feel it important to share this news with our customers and wider community. Why? I understand there might be some concern about whether property matters might be jeopardised throughout my brief period of absence. But I can assure you that Jameson and Partners is my first baby and will always be cared for as such.

Perhaps it is an old-fashioned view that a woman can’t possibly run a business and raise a young family at the same time. But times have changed. And these days, women can indeed juggle family and professional life successfully, as many of our fabulous clients do.

I’m always grateful for the support the local Altrincham business community has shown me over the years. And I am sure I can expect more of the very same as we welcome the twins into our family.
