Jennifer Laurie Jameson
Managing Director
What made you choose a career in property?
Properties are a crucial part of the human psyche and a reflection of individuality. It’s very rewarding to assist in facilitating in a property transaction. The home takes on several incarnations during our interaction with it. When being purchased, it is the dream, when being lived in it is the sanctuary, and when being sold it is bricks and mortar, while the dream moves on to the next home.
What's one thing you think we do differently than other agents?
We care about every individual and want to find the best possible solution to suit their unique needs. The team here are dedicated and passionate about the work we do and offer outstanding service to every client.
What's your favourite part of helping clients buy or sell?
The most rewarding part of this job is seeing the clients we sell to or for when they have settled into their new homes and are happily creating a new chapter of their lives in their new space. Seeing how each family transforms their space is fascinating and endlessly rewarding.
What's one mistake you see buyers/sellers make all the time?
Many buyers struggle to see past the superficial, and many vendors fail to see the value in taking the time to really present their property at its best.
What do you love most about Altrincham?
The beautiful period properties, friendly community, and the convenience of access to all manner of amenities (transport links, schools, hospitals, green spaces, shops). It's just a nice area with a good vibe, it feels safe, welcoming and a lovely place to raise a family.
What would be your dream home feature?
My childhood dream was to live in a turret with a helter-skelter slide, a spiral water slide from my bedroom into an outdoor pool and large garden with a tree-house. As an adult, I would still love a big garden to grow my own produce, and my children would probably enjoy the slides!

What's one thing you think we do differently than other agents?
Jennifer’s ethos and principles, the foundations on which she started the business 10 years ago, still guide everything we do today. Being truly client-focused, delivering exceptional service, and always doing things the right way is at the heart of our approach. That commitment is what sets us apart from the crowd.
What's one tip you'd give someone starting their home search?
Be organised, especially as a first-time buyer, where demand can be high. Make sure your finances are in order, speak with a mortgage adviser about your options, and have an Agreement in Principle in place along with your deposit ready. It’s also important to use your imagination. Not every property will immediately suit your taste, but with a little vision and creativity, you can transform a house into a wonderful home.
Why do you think Altrincham retains its value so well?
Altrincham’s outstanding local schools, with strong reputations both locally and nationally, attract families to the area. Combined with excellent transport links, including the Metrolink, and a thriving town centre, demand remains high.
What do you love most about Altrincham?
Having lived and worked in Altrincham for over 20 years, I’ve seen its ups and downs. Now it’s thriving, with a real buzz and strong community spirit. From Altrincham Market to the great bars, restaurants, and local parks, it has such a happy, welcoming feel.
What does a perfect weekend in Altrincham look like for you?
The local parks, just a stone's throw from the town centre (John Leigh, the Devisdale and Stamford Park) are great places to spend the weekend, especially with kids!

Which part of helping clients do you love most?
Discussing their plans to turn a house into a home. I’m renovation and interiors obsessed and love being part of that excitement, especially with clients who have vision and can see what’s possible beyond what’s right in front of them.
What is one pro tip for home buying?
Be clear on your non-negotiables, but keep an open mind. Understand your priorities and then try to stay flexible on things that can be changed. Sometimes the right home isn’t the one that looks perfect on the first viewing, but the one that has the potential to become exactly what you want.
What would be your dream home feature?
A spiral staircase, leading to a glass-walled top floor gallery filled with antiques, looking out over a walled garden. I would always choose period character over contemporary design.
Which upgrades add the most value in Altrincham homes?
An impressive kitchen/dining space. For many, it’s the heart of their home. Open plan layouts also remain one of the most sought after features among modern buyers.
What do you love most about Altrincham?
The high street and its independents, there are so many great local businesses. I love working in an area where people are inspired to do their own thing and are genuinely supported by their community.

What made you choose a career in property?
Finding a new home is a significant part of people’s lives and can be known for being stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. I want to help make this a seamless, stress-free journey so that people can feel excited and joyful for this next chapter in their lives.
What's one tip you'd give someone starting their home search?
It can be overwhelming searching for a new home, as there’s lots to consider. Try making a list of things that are a must have for you, as well as things you are willing to compromise on. This can help you work out what’s a priority for you and narrow down your search.
What's one local spot you'd recommend to every new buyer?
Altrincham Market and Market House is a great place to visit, especially with friends or family as there are plenty of options, so there’s something for everyone. There’s always a great atmosphere and it’s also dog-friendly so the whole family can go.
What would be your dream home feature?
A big bathroom, with a freestanding bathtub and a working fireplace! I love having a relaxing bath listening to a new mystery podcast and I think a fire would just be so cosy!
Period character or contemporary design?
It’s got to be period features for me. I love the intricate details, with detailed coving, ceiling roses and original fireplaces, it gives a sense of character and charm.
