We list local schools data on the property listings on our website, to help you find the right school in the area you’re looking to move to. Find out more about this wonderful, helpful tool and why we decided to invest in it for our customers.

Locrating for local schools data

The piece of software we have invested in and have included on our website, is called Locrating. We decided to include this to allow visitors searching for homes, to be able to compare the local schools in the area. The incredibly helpful tool provides data on Ofsted, exam results, demographics, absence rates and lots of other at-a-glance information on local schools. We feel this is incredibly useful for people both already in the area and those moving to the area, when selecting a school.

And with lots of home buyers looking to move to Trafford due to the good schools in the area, it’s even handier!

Where you can find Locrating on our website

Simply click on any of our property listings, whether you’re looking for a property to buy or a property to let. When the listing opens up, you will see 5 headings in rectangular boxes beneath the key property details. We have highlighted on the image below, where you will find the Local Schools data.

Once you click on this, you will see a map with the property clearly highlighted (as on the image below). The local schools nearby are represented by blocks. The colour of the blocks relates to the latest inspection rating of the school. Yellow being good and green being outstanding.

To find out more about a school nearby, simply click on the relevant block marker and more information opens up about it, as you can see below. We have clicked on St Hugh’s Catholic Primary School as an example. On the left hand side of the screen, you can see clearly more information about the school from primary results, to admissions, the school’s strengths and weaknesses, and the school’s previous inspections.

You can also search for local schools in the area, using Locrating’s filters. You can find the filters by clicking the Menu button on the top right of the screen when using Locrating.
